Laws and decrees

Higher Education Act Lebanese Issued on 26 December 1961:

Recognition of the Beirut Arab University as a private higher education, list all the faculties, (article 17).

Decree No. 2165 date 25.1.1992: licensing of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Higher Institute of Nursing

Decree No. 9278 Date 5/10/1996: License for the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Dentistry

Decree No. 17009 Date 22/5/2006: authorize the establishment of a branch of the Beirut Arab University in Tripoli - includes faculties: engineering, architecture, science, management, nursing

General Conditions

Study system: credit hours.

Language of instruction: Arabic and English (depending on the specialty).

Note: The games are for admission in the month of August of each year.

Beirut Arab University / Faculty of Arts

Specialties: Arabic Language and Literature, English Language and Literature, French Language and Literature, Geography, history, philosophy, sociology, psychology, media, knowledge management and informatics.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's 4 years (138 units).

- Professional Diploma (30 units).

- Diploma of Specialist (24 units).

- Master (36 units).

- PhD (40 units).

Beirut Arab University / Faculty of Law and Political Science

Specialties: rights (149 units), Political Science (144 units).

Qualifications: - Bachelor's 4 years (8 classes).

- Diploma: (30 units).

- Master (36 units).

- PhD (40 units).

Beirut Arab University / Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration

Specialties: Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance and Banking, customs, insurance and statistical studies, management information systems, tourism management and hospitality.

Qualifications: - Bachelor of 4 years (138 units).

- Diploma in Business and Finance, a specialized diploma (one year after the leave).

- Master (46 units).

- PhD (52 units).

Beirut Arab University / Faculty of Architecture

Specialties: Architecture.

Qualifications: - BA in 5 years (180 units).
